Calling all charities

  Some things in life are a joy to do, others can be a real pain in the posterior. Dealing with utility companies, I think you would agree, tend to be more of the latter rather than the former. The issues range from working out the best price, understanding the utility market, sorting out issues with meters or VAT. Now, the list could go on, but then this blog might turn into a pain of a read, and that is not what blogs should be. Instead life would be great if now and again a fairy godmother would just turn up and wave her wand to make things disappear. Now, at Mycos, we like to think of ourselves as being on her side, helping charities through the fog that is “dealing with the utility companies”. And if this means you can therefore direct more resources, otherwise spent on gas and electric, towards your charitable goals, then the fairy godmother has done her job. Jack of All Trades

VW California campervans look like great family do – it – all vehicles.   They can be a people carrier, a short staycation motorhome, a long staycation if you add on a tent awning, and a car. I am sure they might cover other bases too. And, during Covid, they have been selling well as people try to get away in the UK. But they are far from cheap at £60,000 +. I watched a reviewer, and to my shock he said the California is a jack of all trades but a master of none and didn’t recommend it. Over a weekend he booked into a hotel because he found it too small and uncomfortable. Being a multi tool can get the job done, for example a Leatherman or Swiss Army knife for using as a screwdriver. But you don’t see a skilled joiner using a multi tool. So, here’s the advert coming.   Mycos concentrates on purely supporting SMEs with their business energy bills. So, we keep our skillset narrowed.
