To Do or Not to Do - That is the Question!
No, it’s not, we all have things to do and unfortunately there are too many of them and sadly most of them are not an option.
There are lots of articles and books on being organised. Add to that, there are also different software suites to help too.
All of us are different and finding the right method and the tools that work best for you, perhaps come under the theme of “suck it and see”. Normally, I can review something to use or purchase and know what to go for, I am happy with my decision. And overall, 90% of the time, it works out fine.
Not this time, it’s going to be more like trial and error
I have a hunch that it is going to be a combination of my still to arrive Remarkable 2, Outlook and Todoist.
The Remarkable will be thoughts and ideas with general overview of projects, while Outlook and Todoist will make up the calendar and to do list.
Even before all that, Blue Sky Thinking is needed to come up with the ideas. The funny thing is, to do lists are very much grounded in the reality of the day to day – to get through the day with enough jobs done. But Blue Sky Thinking is all about creative ideas that don’t need to be grounded in reality. Eventually they do, but it’s a process to come across some good and innovative ideas.
So, the flow might be: Blue Sky Thinking, using the Remarkable to capture the ideas and form them into projects, and then Todoist for tasks linked to Outlook calendar.
I think I have it sorted; time will tell with a bit of tweaking.
